A Women’s Yoga Retreat in the French Pyrenees (September 2027)

Mountains of the French Pyrenees, La Taillede Retreat

Some of you have been asking where I’m taking you next. The answer is up a mountain in the French Pyrenees.

From 15–19 September 2027, I’m running the Autumn Sanctuary Retreat, an intimate women’s yoga retreat at La Taillede, a restored Catalan farmhouse above the village of Corsavy. It’ll for 8–10 of us, and we have the whole place to ourselves.

Why the French Pyrenees?

Because the setting does half the work. You wake up to mountain views, and the nearest thing to a to-do list is deciding between the hot tub, the pool and a nap. It’s about an hour from Perpignan airport, and there are direct flights from London Stansted, so it’s easier to reach than it looks.

What’s there

  • Two wood-fired hot tubs

  • A sauna with a cold plunge

  • An outdoor pool and fire pits

  • A light-filled yoga studio

  • Private gîtes and en-suite farmhouse rooms

What a day looks like

Morning yoga is energising hatha with breathwork and meditation. Then comes a long, slow brunch, followed by free time for the hot tub, a swim, a walk or doing nothing at all. In the late afternoon we slow right down with restorative yoga, journalling and yoga nidra, then eat dinner together looking at the mountains.

Across the five days you get eight yoga sessions, guided journalling, an optional workshop and a guided mountain hike with donkeys.

The food

Our chef, Karolina, is a trained nutritionist. She cooks vegetarian and vegan food from fresh, seasonal, mostly plant-based ingredients, and all dietary needs are looked after. Brunch, an afternoon snack and a two-course dinner are included every day.

Who it’s for

Women of every age, body and level, from complete beginners to long-time yogis. Many women come on their own, and I’ll make sure you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Others bring a friend, a sister, a daughter or their mum. You can have space when you want it and company when you want it.

“It’s my first retreat, first time away from my family, first trip just for me. It’s been inspiring, uplifting and has given me focus.” – Becky

You come home rested, refreshed and with your energy back.

Rebecca Dobson

Rebecca founded GetCalmer in 2001, with a vision to pass on her knowledge and passion of holistic therapies to others and ultimately to help people "get calmer".

Having a sales background, Rebecca knew only too well the stressful effects that working in a pressurised environment can have on the body, and how little people take care of themselves.

With this in mind, Rebecca followed her passion and spent a year re-training in various holistic therapies, including massage and Reiki, gaining experience working privately, in spa’s and practicing onsite massage in the workplace.

Since completing her Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training in 2006, Rebecca has been taught by many worldwide accredited yoga teachers over the years, including Claire Missingham, Kathryn Budig, Jason Crandell and the most influential Dr. Francoise Freedman, Director and Founder of Birthlight. All of which have shaped her in to the yoga teacher she is today. Rebecca would describe herself as a down to earth teacher and therapist who is personable, creative, patient and intuitive. She lightly weaves yoga philosophy and anatomy into her classes, making them well-rounded and accessible. In her opinion, yoga isn’t just about busting a pose, it’s so much more than that; yoga can help you understand yourself, others and the world we live in; all you need is an open mind.

Rebecca’s next mission is to spread the word to every Woman on the profound benefits of yoga to help improve and enhance Women’s health. Who knows at this point where it will lead her, but I bet you any money it’ll be something truly exciting!
